Do you charge a callout fee?
Yes — a flat $99 callout that covers the plumber turning up and giving you a fixed quote. If you go ahead with the work, the callout is rolled into the job price. If you don't, the $99 covers our time and travel. No surprise additions.
How fast can you actually get to me?
For emergencies (burst pipe, gas leak, no hot water), we aim for under 60 minutes in metro Sydney and Melbourne. For non-emergency bookings, same-day if you call before lunch, next-day if after. We text you the plumber's name and ETA when they're on their way.
Are your plumbers actually licensed?
Every Apex plumber holds a current Master Plumber license in NSW or VIC, plus gas-fitting authorisation where applicable. License numbers appear on every quote, every invoice, and every compliance certificate we issue. You can verify them on the NSW Fair Trading or VBA websites.
How does the 5-year warranty work?
Our workmanship warranty covers any failure of the work we performed for five years from the install date. If the work fails because of how we did it, we come back and fix it free, no callout, no labour, no parts charge. Manufacturer warranties on hot water units, taps and similar are passed through and supported separately.
Can I get a quote before booking?
Yes. Send a photo through our online form or WhatsApp and we'll give you a written estimate within 30 minutes during business hours. For complex jobs (pipe relining, bathroom reno), we'll do a free on-site quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card (debit / credit), bank transfer, AfterPay for jobs under $2,000, and 0% interest finance through Brighte for larger installs (hot water, bathroom reno). No cash discount tricks.
Do you do strata and commercial work?
Yes. We have separate workflows for strata managers and commercial property managers, including direct billing, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours emergency response. Get in touch and we'll send you a strata/commercial pack.
